Copyright and Likeness Reports

How to report a Chipmunks Dance Trend video or reference clip that uses your work or your face without permission, what to send, and how fast we act.

Last updated: 2026-11-03

If a video made with Chipmunks Dance Trend uses your copyrighted work, or shows you or someone you represent without permission, or if one of the reference clips on this site is yours, tell us and we will act on it within 24 hours.

Reference clips from TikTok

Our trend page plays three short TikTok clips by creators who made the Chipmunks Dance popular, so visitors can see the real dance. We store the files on our own server so they play on the page. Each clip:

  • names its creator and links to the original TikTok post;
  • is labeled “Reference clip from TikTok, not made by this site”;
  • shows adults only;
  • is not for sale and is never used to make anyone’s video. Customer videos come from our own template, danced by AI-made performers.

To have a clip removed, the creator, a person shown in it, or a rights holder in the clip or its sound can email contact@chipmunksdancetrend.video with the link of the clip or of the TikTok post. We take it down within 24 hours of your email. No formal notice is needed.

Report your likeness

If you are the person in a video made here, or act for them (a parent, a guardian, an agent), email contact@chipmunksdancetrend.video with:

  • a link to the video, or where you saw it and when;
  • who is shown, and how you are connected to them;
  • how we can reach you.

We remove videos we still host within 24 hours, and may suspend accounts that upload people without their permission: the acceptable use policy says whose photo may be used. Videos posted elsewhere (TikTok, Instagram, YouTube) are under that platform’s control: report them there too.

Send a notice to contact@chipmunksdancetrend.video that includes:

  1. the work you believe is infringed (a link, or a description of the song, footage or artwork);
  2. the material on this site you want removed, with a link precise enough to find it;
  3. your name, address, phone number and email;
  4. a statement that you believe in good faith the use is not authorized by the owner, its agent or the law;
  5. a statement that the notice is accurate and, under penalty of perjury, that you are the owner or authorized to act for the owner;
  6. your physical or electronic signature.

We remove or disable the material within 24 hours of a complete notice and tell the uploader. If they believe it was removed by mistake, they can send a counter-notice to the same address with the same details; we may then restore the material unless you tell us you have gone to court. Accounts with repeated infringements may be suspended. Reference clips are simpler: they come down on request, with no counter-notice.

Trademarks

ALVIN AND THE CHIPMUNKS is a registered trademark of Bagdasarian Productions, and the characters’ names belong to their owners. We use “Chipmunks Dance” only to name the TikTok trend. We don’t use the characters, their logos or their costumes, and photos in character costumes aren’t accepted (acceptable use). If you hold a trademark and think a page here misuses it, write to the same address.

What we keep, and for how long

Uploaded photos are deleted after 2 days and finished videos after 14, so many reports are about copies posted elsewhere. Customer videos are AI-generated on our own template: no frame of anyone’s TikTok goes into them. Chipmunks Dance Trend is not affiliated with Bagdasarian Productions, 20th Century Studios, Majesco, Dead or Alive, Epic Records, Rhino, Fox Music, will.i.am, Interscope, TikTok or the creators who started the dance.
