Privacy Policy

What we collect

• Account data: your email, name and profile image from sign-in.
• Photos you submit: the three photos you upload, one per dancer, used only to make your video.
• Your confirmation: when you start a video, we record that you confirmed the line next to the button (everyone in the photos is 18 or older and agreed, and none is a public figure), with the order.
• Generated videos: the videos created for you.
• Payment data: handled by Waffo, our merchant of record. We receive the order status and email, never your full card number.
• Usage and device data: pages visited, basic device and browser info, and IP address for security and rate limiting. We count page views with pvuv.ai.
• First-visit source: a first_touch cookie (90 days) and first-party cookies for UTM tags and the referring site record how you first found us (the source, campaign, referring site or the app whose browser opened the link, and the first page), so we can tell which channels work. They are attached to your account when you sign up or start a checkout.

The other people in your photos

A video has three people, so you usually upload photos of two others. We process their photos on your behalf, only to make your video, and you confirm that each of them is an adult who agreed. If you are in a video made here and didn’t agree, email us: we delete it within 24 hours (see copyright and likeness reports).

How we use it

• To create and deliver your videos.
• To run automated safety checks on photos and videos.
• To process payments, prevent fraud and abuse, and provide support.
• To improve the site using aggregated analytics.

We do not use your photos or videos to train AI models, and we do not sell your personal data.

Who processes it

• Video generation: your three photos and our template video are sent to our AI video provider, kie.ai, which runs Kling 4.0’s edit mode (or SeeAPI when we switch to it), to generate the video.
• Storage: photos and finished videos are stored in Cloudflare R2 and served to you through our site.
• Safety checks: photos and videos are checked by our moderation provider (SeeAPI).
• Hosting: Cloudflare (servers, database).
• Payments: Waffo.
• Email: Resend sends sign-in codes and video-ready emails.
• Analytics: pvuv.ai.

These providers process data only to provide their service to us.

How long we keep it

• Uploaded photos are stored in our Cloudflare R2 storage for up to 2 days, where our video and moderation providers fetch them through a short-lived private link, and are then deleted automatically. Our records keep only a link and a fingerprint used to prevent duplicate uploads.
• Generated videos are deleted automatically after 14 days.
• Account and order records are kept while your account is active and as required for tax and accounting.

Reference clips

Our trend page plays three TikTok clips by the creators who made the dance popular, each credited and linked to the original post. They show those creators, not our users, and we remove any of them within 24 hours when the creator, a person in it or a rights holder asks.

Your choices and rights

You can ask us to access, correct or delete your data, or to delete your account, by emailing contact@chipmunksdancetrend.video. Depending on where you live (for example the EU, UK or California) you may have additional rights, and you can complain to your local data protection authority.

Children

The service is not for anyone under 18, and photos of minors are not allowed.
